Round 1 Video Guidelines and Important Information
In the first round of recruitment, each Potential New Member (PNM) is required to create a personal video, while the 14 chapters will also make their own videos. The voting for this round will be based on the mutual selections made by the PNMs and the chapters after watching these videos.
When recording your video, it's essential to be authentic and let your true personality shine! Use this opportunity to share aspects of yourself that might not be evident from your written application. Whether it’s a unique hobby, a personal story, or your enthusiasm for joining the community, this is your chance to stand out and make a memorable impression on the chapters.
Video Guidelines:
Use your phone, laptop, or a similar device to record your video - avoid using professional recording equipment. Your video can be vertical or horizontal.
Do not edit your video. It should be a genuine and unaltered representation of yourself.
Wear something that makes you feel confident and presentable. Choose an outfit that reflects your personal style. See outfit guide under the recruitment tab for more details!
Film with a plain background to avoid any distractions. The focus should be on you, not on what's behind you.
Ensure that you are the only person in the video. No other individuals should appear in the frame.
Do not use any props in your video. Your personality and words should be the highlight.

How to upload your YouTube video to Campus Director:
Record your video on your phone or laptop
Make a YouTube account using any email
Click “create” on the top right hand corner of the screen
Select “upload video”
Select the file from your laptop to upload to YouTube
Title your video with your full name
Ex: Mary Martin Olds
Click “Next” until you are on the Visibility page
Select “Unlisted” anyone with the video link can watch your video
Press “Save”
Copy your video link and paste in in your Campus Director profile
